Worth a visit! Porta Portese, the biggest, the most famous and the most colorful market of Rome. You can buy anything: shoes, records, antiques, new or second hand clothes, bags, paintings, you name it. Goods of all kinds: old, new, stolen, originals, imitations… Your purchase may reveal a great deal or a miserable fraud. It’s part of the game!
Once you are there, bear in mind: Porta Portese is a cove of pick-pockets. Do not challenge them: do not carry valuables with you.
