Hotel Ranieri is located in the centre of Rome, between Michelangelo's Porta Pia gate and the Quirinale presidential palace, very close to Termini main railway station and the famous Via Veneto, theatre of the glorious Dolce Vita, and only 400 metres from the Piazza della Repubblica subway station.
Its strategic position makes this warm Rome hotel the ideal solution for those travelling to the Eternal City for pleasure or business. Many of the main spots of artistic and cultural interest as well as the most important business and political centres can easily be reached on foot or with a short ride on the public transport. Some of Rome's major sights are located in the immediate vicinity of Hotel Ranieri including Galleria Borghese museum and Villa Borghese park. A short walk will take you to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Via Condotti, temple of boutiques and luxurious ateliers. Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Pantheon and Piazza Navona are right in the city center. The Vatican City with Basilica of Saint Peter just across the Tiber river as well as Trastevere quarter and Hadrian's Mausoleum. DIRECTIONS By plane From Rome's "Leonardo Da Vinci" or "Ciampino" airports you can take a taxi. We recommend you do not accept rides from taxis without metres. The trip from the airport takes around 50 minutes. Another possibility is the "Leonardo Express" train which leaves from the Fiumicino airport every 30 minutes and reaches Termini railway station in around 35 minutes. Tickets cost 11 euros per person. By train From Termini Station you can get to Hotel Ranieri by cab: the trip takes around 5 minutes and costs approximately 10 euro. Another possibility is to take bus no. 16 to Via Venti Settembre. If you do not have heavy luggage, you can also reach us on foot in 10-15 minutes. By car Take the Roma Nord motorway exit and continue for about 19 km until the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare - Rome's ring road). After about 5 km take exit no. 11 on the GRA for Via Nomentana and head towards the centre. Continue for around 9 km on this road: stay in the right lane and avoid the underpass and continue going straight until the traffic light. Go through the walls at Porta Pia and drive down Via Venti Settembre, after around 250 metres you'll see the Hotel's vertical sign on the right. Your car can be parked upon request in a nearby garage with pick-up and delivery service. The cost varies based on the dimensions of the car from 20 to 25 euro for 24 hours. |
